Introducing Buffalo Dinner Club!

 

We are excited to announce the official launch of a new way to dine, and explore restaurants in Buffalo, NY; Buffalo Dinner Club.

Buffalo Dinner Club aims to be the new social and online community to bring people together while exploring restaurants, food, and cocktails, in and around the Western New York area.

Every member of the public will be able to enjoy dinners, and happy hours, with exclusive menus and dishes, from local chefs, restaurants and bars. All they have to do is follow along on our Facebook and website to buy tickets to the dinners they would like to attend.

Our events also encourage people from all different parts of our vibrant Buffalo community to come together and network about anything they desire, while enjoying some delicious food. It is a great opportunity for people from all background and industries to meet and forge new relationships for a new Buffalo.

So far we have hosted four dinners in Buffalo, and we are looking forward to our next one, June 22nd at Carte Blanche Hamburg.  Along with several other events this summer.

Also, we will now be featuring articles and content written by our team, introducing and exploring new and old restaurants to our online, and dining community. This includes interviewing and getting to some our fabulous chefs in the area to see what drives them to cook for Buffalo, making recipes, and checking out food related events and festivals.

A little bit about our founder. Steve Ambrose is the Founder and CEO of Buffalo Dinner Club. He was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and went to St Francis High School before graduating from Canisius College, Cum Laude with a B.S. in Entrepreneurship. After college, Steve  knew that what ever whatever career path he chose, he wanted to make a positive impact on Buffalo and the community. While working in  sales, he realized he could make an impact, by supporting and joining the growing Buffalo food and restaurant scene. Bringing together his love of food and community, he is know able to help support new businesses and meet people with the same goals and interests, which also enjoying some delicious food!

Our restaurant for May, Osteria 166, explains on their website a little bit about their mission:

“The concept is quite simple—provide a welcoming atmosphere with great food at a fair price, all while paying respect to my family’s roots in the restaurant business, and great things can happen.”

Drawing inspiration and influence from a long career in the restaurant industry, as well as support from his close knit, Italian family, Nick finally faced all of his fears and uncertainties to open Osteria 166 (after struggling with the name before going with his gut). The menu is based off of “Nani’s” secret homemade recipes, and is described as,

“…truly a blend of old family specialties and a working-class chef doing his thing.”

 They also are proud to work with local growers, farms, and markets to support local and provide the best ingredients and dishes to all of their guests.
